Default New NUb Cafe

Anyone here tried the new coffee inspired NUbs yet? Are they even out yet?

Have not tried them, I did see the samplers at the lounge just after the show.

I dont believe they will be. They did not go over well with the owners. They are not fans of the flavored cigars.

I've tried 2 of them, the Espresso & the Macchiato. I usually don't smoke flavored cigars, but tried them. I had coffee with them & actually enjoyed them. My wife took some puffs of them too & also liked them.

I had them in Vegas with my morning French Press. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised.

The down side is they have a strong flavor and I'm would (my own opinion) would keep them separated from my high end stuff.

I gave a few to a good friend of mine and he agreed with my opinion.

Starting next week, you'll definitely see more of them. (If you're looking.)

So are they only good with coffee? No very convincing for a flavored cigar

From my experience (smoked 2 of them) I'd say the coffee didn't matter. I'll try another later this afternoon without coffee to confirm.

I only had them with coffee in the morning in Vegas. I probably wouldn't smoke them any other time but I doubt this cigar is targeting my taste buds or my stogie profile.
If you like flavor cigars, this will give you what you're looking for. I normally wouldn't reach for a flavor stogie but I would have these with a morning coffee.

I think that says a lot coming from me.

First, I suck at reviews & I'm just getting my taste buds back in line...

So I just finished an Nub Cafe Espresso about 15 minutes ago. It was the 2nd time I had the Espresso. I've also had 1 of the Macchiato.

No coffee with it...I had a ale instead. The flavor, to me, was of a cup of real, dark, hot chocolate. It was not an artificial kind of taste. It was more pronounced at the beginning & then eased, while still being there. Also, I found it to be very smooth, not harsh at all.

Long story-short...It was enjoyable. I'd smoke it again.

I'm looking forward to finding & trying the Cappuccino.

ETA: the size was the Robusto. I'd really like to try the smaller RG sizes on these, like the coronas.

I have had the tabaks which are coffee infused but looking forward to trying the nub cafe. These will probably blow away the tabaks

Well then, I just hope that one of my local stores carries them soon. Looking forward to trying one.

i will try these, will say i was tad dissapointed that this was the first new release in a while and it was flavored. I am not a flavored cigar smoker at all. I will try them because i love oliva tobacco so will give a shot and give my honest opinion... I hope it does well for the nub brand for sure.

I went to Manchester NH yesterday. I looked in 2 different B&M and neither one had any of the NUB Café. I will keep looking.
