Nice Nub stand Dan, but it's hard to believe that's your first NUB maduro, as lokg as you've been on here I figured you had smoke all varieties of NUBs.

Yeah, ok so i wont lie to anyone, i normally don't smoke the Cain Maduros, don't know why, i just prefer the Cain Habano and the F more...The F is my favorite cigar, period, followed by any Cain habano... So i never tried the Cain "Nub" Maduro, because of this reason...Someone gifted this one to me and i am glad they did, it was awesome... In fact my tastes have changed quiet rapidly in the last year... For instance i have always loved the F, but was not a huge fan of the habano and def not of the maduro, until about 6 months ago, i picked another Cain Habano up and smoked it again, and said wow, when the same cigar a year prior, wasn't wow'd by. Now i have a box of the Habanos and the Fs, but hardly any of the maduros... Will fix that, lol...

I am def going to revisit the Cain Maduro... I find myself drifting to the Cains more than the nubs lately, Nub will always be near to my heart, as that's how i found this place, and was my first Oliva cigar... I still smoke at least a nub a week, if not more... But i have been smoking more Cains like 3-4 a week...

So definitely going to try the Cain Maduro Tubo next i think, and the regular the Cain Maudro 550.

in my experience many people shy away from maduros because they say "they dont like strong cigars". Eventually most if not all end up preferring Maduros as you get accustomed to cigars and then realize a maduro is not stronger. It's more ripe. Seriously, it is allowed to age more on the plant and is therefore, like any fruit or vegetable, sweeter and less bitter.

I love the maduro and habano wrappers, not real fond of the connie wrapper. Just not enough strength for me i guess. PA broadleaf isn't bad either.

Good to know Skip, I am one of thos who tend to shy away from the Maduros because of the darker color. But I do have a bunch and just need to nut up and try them all.

I lean towards a maduro cigar. I guess that's why the NUB maduro, Cain maduro and the SA maduro are my favorites.
