Default Oliva Cigar & Studio Tobac Web Site Questions

I have several questions about the Oliva Cigar & Studio Tobac websites.

I was actually looking for information un the Nub Cafe lines...specifically if the cap is sweetened & if so, by what?

So I looked on the Oliva Cigar web site http://www.olivacigar.com/...no info & the site was last listed as copyrighted in 2014. It's the same with the Studio Tobac website http://studiotobac.com/blog/ as well. No info on the Cafe lines & last copyrighted in 2014.

So my questions are...when were the last time these websites last updated?

And where can I find info on the Cafe lines?

Tonto
They are working on a website that is dedicated to the cafe line (not yet completed)

As I understand it the flavorings (eatable grade) are applied directly to the cigars. Part of the flavorings includes sugar.

Thanks Skip.

Do you know if they are using Aspartame or any other type of artificial sweetener?

I do not. However, if you are worried, I can't believe some dried flavoring on a tobacco leaf could be of any dietary concern to anyone with restrictions. You're not eating it. The quantity is miniscule.
If it's important to you I'll find out. PM me.

It's a bad sensitivity/allergy to aspartame. There is medical debate on whether people have an allergy to it, or are just extremely sensitive to it.

Also, any idea when the regular Oliva Site & Studio Tobac site will be updated? It looks like they haven't been updated in almost a year on 1 and over 2 years on the other.

all the sites are being reviewed. Oliva hired a new marketing person and she is reviewing everything. I'm told she has an interest in online presence too so maybe we'll have a little more official Oliva representation here.

(on a side note, in the beginning even Jose' used to post once in a while)

That should be good.

Do you know if she actually smokes cigars?

The wife likes the machiotto? Nub. It's pretty tasty and smells darn good. I'll end up finishing the last half of the wife's when she's done.

Skip, it's now been over 3 months & the main Oliva website still hasn't been updated, or even fixed...there are errors.

Just go to the "Events" section http://www.olivacigar.com/events.aspx

Bump...for anyone who knows?

Is there a website that actually has current information about Oliva products and future events?

Funny seeing this thread... I was happy to find this forum as I had noticed that their web presence was outdated and pretty much useless to me. I am hopeful that if they indeed have hired a new marketing person, that she will be able to get them on the right path. :-)
