No, I don't think so.
It's a ceramic jar, like a lot of Cuban manufacturers put out.

yeah, so could my old sneakers but is it practical?

It's an awesome show piece. I'd leave it as that or perhaps very short term storage.

I agree Skipper, I have two of these and keep stogies in them but I keep them in my cabinet. I'll take a pic of them and post. I would not keep them on my desk or anything or like you said only for shirt term or show.
