Default What can we expect?

Oliva folks, just seeing what we can expect in 2014 from Oliva/Nub as it pertains to swag, samplers and/cigars. Curious because I have an Oliva event in early May and would like to know if new items will be available.

How does July 2014 equate to 2015?

The IPCPR is the biggest stage in our industry, that's where the big news happens and new products are released. When we launch something, we take orders and ship it. Not 6+ months later....

We just released a Melanio 660, two new Melanio Maduro sizes, two new Padilla Petit Corona sizes in the Reserva line, a new Padilla sampler is about to hit events, Fresh Packs are hitting distributors in about two weeks, and we have plenty in the pipeline for the rest of the year. That's 5 new sizes and/or brand extensions, a great new sampler, the entry into a major segment of the market that we weren't previously in, with more to come and plenty of time left in the year. It's all good.

I think with years past we had the ST events with samplers and new products like the ST sampler, Nub Daytona and the special edition Cain. It helped hold everyones interst until the IPCPR show when the products can be ordered.

I wish I could attend the IPCPR to experience The Event" of the year. Is there anyway Oliva might have a contest so someone on this board could attend this event?

George your best bet is to buddy up with your favorite shop owner and get invited as an employee of that shop. Be warned though, retail customers are generally not appreciated at IPCPR shows so the rule of thumb as a non-buying attendee is to keep your head low and just enjoy the event.

And you didn't hear this from me.

I guess it's a package to keep your sigars fresh. Not a bad idea if you dont have a travel humidor handy and want to pick up a few cigars.

Still seems like it's for the casual smoker....something they could pick up @ the 7-11 or local gas station. Is it on stick per pack?

yeah Joe, the target seems to be a retailer that does not have a proper humidor.

That may be cool for someone to keep a few sticks at their office too....

Studio Tobac/Oliva needs to release a few cigars in the A size.

How about an A V? (that's just poetic)
or an A Malenio?

or an A Nub? (yeah I know, but it would be a good smoke)
