Default The Reckoning?

So apparently there is a new cigar out by ST? Just flipping thru the CI magazine and I saw it. Any information on what it is? Is it a cheaper made Cain? Cain Daytona clone?

Sounds like it might give the Cain F a run for it's money!

This is something completely new. I can't comment on it much more than that as it's a project that was exclusively done in close conjunction with CI.

Why is it cheaper? Is the tobacco not as good as what's in the Cains? Does it have burn issues? Just curious

Why would we release thousands of boxes of cigars with known burn issues?

There are literally hundreds of things that go into a price point. This is a completely different blend than Cain and it has nothing to do with cheaper tobacco or burn issues. CI picked the price, not us.

I was just thinking (& it has NOTHING to do with this new cigar) It's funny how certain cigars tend to not burn as well as others. And often it has nothing to do with construction. The more oily a cigar is the more likely you'll have some tunneling or the so-called canoe.
These same oils that produce flavor and strength do tend to interfere with the burning of a cigar.
When you think about it, it's almost magical the way a cigar burns. Keep those hot embers, and keep then evenly without bursting into flame even though we are drawing air through it.

Again my comments have NOTHING to do with this or any other single cigar. Just an observation that some of the posts above made me think about.

OK, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

It's probably tobacco they used as bedding for farm animals. "Hey Pablo, these leaves still look good." as he brushes off duck and chicken turds. "Let's toss these into some cigar for CI to sell really cheap."
