Default Lockers

Does anyone have a locker?

A local shop by me sent out this Email:
ree to Locker Members
Cigar Lockers Available!!
399.99 per year!
Please inquire at Shop
All events are Free.

If I'm gonna stay around this area, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger. The shop does do a bunch of events, has decent hours and only about a 15 minute drive from my current location in Middletown.
The downside at the moment is, it;s getting warmer and we will soon be spending the majority of our time at the beach.

I have a few questions for the shop;
Can I smoke my own stogies while I'm there with buying one every now and then from them. That would be my main objective in joining, a place to smoke my own stogies. Is that normal if one owns a locker?
Can I keep a bottle of spirits in the locker?

Any comments / suggestions / questions / thoughts?

I've never seen a shop that doesn't allow you to store liquior in your locker.
As far as the cigars, most shops will be reasonable. My last shop, J Barbara, said if you have a locker you do not need to buy anything. And they gave you a discount (15% on boxes, 10% on any other purchase over $30). But my previous shop gave you nothing for your locker. In fact he would open your locker from time to time and insist you remove your cigars you may have had in your locker that you did not buy from him.
In short you need to ask the proprietor what his policy is.
Most places have events for members only and open it up to the outside only if there is room

Jimmie, we are doing lockers at our new place for non members. They cost $350 per year. The kicker is that they can only be filled with store purchased cigars. The old members lounge you could bring anything in if you had a membership. That has stopped because it was not profitable for the company.

Thanks. I've been there a few times. I actually just missed Rick the last time I was there (Oliva Rep.).
They do a lot of Ashton events, super bowl party, BBQ during the summer etc. Specials on Anjeos and Opus X. They charge more for non members at the events. I'm not sure what a member is (owning a locker or something else).

I have to gather up my questions, find out their policy and take it from there.

Probably not the best time for me to join but maybe thats why they have lockers available.

I just got my first locker last week. Normally $150 a year, got it for free for paying my membership up front. I plan on installing a motion sensing light inside.

Well George, I think I'm gonna wait.
I'm leaving for Florida soon and won't be back till 3/17.
By then, hopefully the warmer weather will be here and I'll be heading to the beach and smoking outside.

I'm gonna stop at the lounge and like Skipper said find out their policy and ask my questions. If they have a liberal policy etc then I'll rent a locker (if they have one available) in September. I don't mind paying the money but I'll make the best use of the lounge in the fall / winter..
What I don't want to do is buy cigars at a premium price at a lounge when I'll never smoke what I have now.

As intriguing as a locker full of cigars sounds or looks there is not a B&M in this town with them. I keep a 5-count travel humidor with me at all times.

why would this matter, you are charging $350 a year for a box in your room to store cigars...

My lounge you can smoke your own and you can keep in your locker any liquor but if put liquor in bar you must write your name on bottle and put a recite in box with your name liquor authorities came and told them we don't charge all member liquor that's why
