Who did the first ever nub stand.

The person who posts the correct answer will win 2 Nub cigars.
Entrants must have at least 20 posts
Only 1 guess per day per member
Only 1 name allowed in each guess
Contestants must be 21 or older
Rules are subject to change without notice.
This contest is not open to anyone who may have been present at that monumental event!

Bonus for a 2010 Nub Tour backpack)...
Where did this occur. (bonus offer only to the winner of the contest and must be posted with the original guess. the Bonus info will not affect the original entry other than to make eligible the Nub Tour backpack)

From Dave:
I did it at lunch with Jose and Sam (and a few others) in Miami in our conference room. Our Chinese food arrived and I put my half smoked cigar (the very first prototype Nubs arrived from Nicaragua) in the middle of the ashtray on its end. The best part, was that 10 minutes later when I finished my sushi, the cigar didn’t require relighting, and the ash kept. The table was impressed and dubbed my ash stand, a “Nub Stand” at that moment.

Of course, Joe the man chimes in. I knew the answer as well, but didn't get to see this until after the question had been answered.
