Hey everyone,

Sam suggested I stop by to check the site out and say whats up to everyone on here! I'm a Store Manager/Embroidery Specialist/Hataholic for LIDS (maybe Hatworld for some you folks) in Sam's hometown of Pittsburgh.

I've had an awesome time meeting Sam and getting his logo on some sweet kick-ass lids. I've seen they've been a big hit with a lot of you guys; Sam and i have tossed around some pretty sweet ideas!

If you guys want to know anything about hats in general, hit me up; I'm sure you guys can all teach me a thing or 2 about cigars!

I'm as excited as many of you about the upcoming launch and after trying the Connecticut's that Sam gave me to sample, I'm sure they will be a hit!

I gotta say, you guys at Lids have it down. The Nub hat I have is by FAR the most comfy hat I've ever worn.

Hey everyone...new member here. Just got back from cigar fest where one of the crew from nub told me about the site. Awesome site and awesome cigars. I was wondering though...where can I buy nub hats from?

Hey egan, glad you had an awesome time at cfest.

Hats arent for sale yet. At some point in the future there will be an online store where you can get gear, but not jsut yet. Until then the best thing to do is keep your eyes on the forum for the contests, or head over to caincigar.com and/or nubcigar.com and take a look at the events calendar to find out when Sams tour is coming to your town. He always brings tons of goodies to hand out, so thats easily your best chance to score a hat.

Welcome to the site! The rocker hats are a huge hit. (i think they are called rockers, the one I am wearing in my pic) I had people at Cfest trying to buy the one I was wearing right off my head. I just put a patch on one I bought at a clothing store.

love my hat, won in in a contest, and now thanks to Sam i have it signed on the bill... makes it even better. But i do agree it is one comfortable hat...

thanks everyone for welcoming me to the forum...awesome place. I was hoping I could buy some shirts and hats, but i guess i can wait. I am gonna try to make it to his event when he comes to philly. I had an awesome time at his after party (after cigarfest) also, he is really one of the coolest guy you will ever meeet. Made me a nub cigar smoker. I love cain also but just getting into the stronger smokes. My previous favorite smoke was the padilla signature 1932, but I think I am gonna switch.

Yup, it was Brian (brcrane14). I'm not sure if Skipper has anymore of those hats, but you can win them in the contests. I believe I won one, but it didn't fit, in fact, that might be the one Brian has now. Definitely get in every contest you can, it'll up your chances of winning some cool swag.

As for the Philly event, I may have to head up there for it. It's so close to Baltimore, and I want to pick up some more Bethlehem Brewery Beers, in which I saw on their website you can purchase them in Philly.

Hey man! Yea, it was definitely me you were talking to. Right outside the tent, correct? Glad you found your way here.

The plaid hat was from one of the first hat runs, I believe in late 2008. They are hard to come by as the 2009 and 2010 hats are the ones around now. I won mine in the first contest I participated in on this board. Dave, you gave your hat to Steve back in May before the Broadleaf event.

Philly is only a little over an hour away. Im definitely down for going to the event.
