well, there are 2 Dutch cigar boards, I am one of the owners of the smaller but more active board (and by this time next year we won't be the smaller one anymore, we're growing 3½ times as fast as the other board at the moment). I wrote a story on our website that we just purchased the other board, which led to a discussion on both boards :D

One of my coworkers tried to play a prank on a few of us. He taped the receiver button on our phones down so when we picked it up our phones wouldn't answer.

Well, we noticed this quite quickly, and promptly started pranking him back. The coworker and I that he pranked started emailing each other through the distribution list to the entire department. Determining that multiple phones were "down" we emailed the telecom department with a priority request to have this looked at (having called and getting the telecom guy in on it). The original pranker is dating the CFO's daughter, so we got him in on it as well. The telecom guy "determined that because of the taped down receivers, it caused damage to the main telecom switch, requiring replacement of each of the cards that were affected at $2600.00 each for a total of $7800.00 and thus needing the approval of our CFO for a capital purchase."

The emails are still flying so I'll edit this with an update when all is said and done :D

Also, I dont know if any of you guys ever go to FunnyOrDie.com, but there website changed a bit for the "holiday". Of course to appreciate it, you have to understand who this awful "musical artist", Rebecca Black, is. She sings that horrible song "Friday" that has been all over the internet, today shows, Conan, Lettterman, etc..

If you look closely you will notice that all individual items on the desk were foiled individually. That includes the pens in his pen holder.

When I eorked one year I glued everything on someone's desk. paper. clips, pads, even the phone handle. Boy was that person upset.



Another time, I put a condom in a guy's suit jacket. He usually hung his jacket behind his door so when he went to the bathroom I put the comdon in his jacket then.

2 years ago I made a print screen from my co-workers desktop. Turned that into his wall-paper, removed all the shortcuts from his desktop and waited till he came back to his computer, asked if he could look something up for me. It took him and the IT guy an hour to solve the problem :D

Jimmie, Ernie & I did that to Barry. We bought a tube of crazy glue. Glued his mug to his desk, his phone to the desk then the receiver to the phone, his pencil, pictures of his wife, etc etc etc...
When we were done you could have turned his desk upside down and nothing but the phone wire would have moved.

Another time we simply bent a paper clip into a double hook (just open it up a bit) then hooked his phone wire close to the receiver then again close to the phone. When he picked up the receiver his phone came up with it. Someone called and he was a bit away form his desk, he ran over and lifted it in a rush. The sound it made was hysterical. We heard Crash, ding, boom and a weakened puzzled "hello"

i was leaving it to you Jimmie.
Jimmie and I used to work together. We were often still at work beyond 7pm when just about everyone went home. We had a common enemy. This guy was a real dog. He was one of those political rats that would set people up and get them in trouble. No morals.
So, often while there late at night Jimmie and I would get mischievous. One evening he said to me "what can we do to Frank?" We went into his office and I had an idea. I said "we could take a drawer out and put some smelly food inside his desk then put back the drawer. His office would stink and he would not know where or why". Jimmie quick to respond said come on, lets go. The next thing Jimmie and I are at a food stand trying to decide between tuna or egg salad. I thought the tuna would be better. In retrospect, the egg may have been better, but Tuna it was. We removed the sandwich form the wrapper, took out his drawer, dropped in the sandwich and put the draw back.
I was scarce for other reasons the next few days but would often think of that sandwich festering with maggots doing it's deed.

Skipper and I had a lot of fun when we worked together and when we worked for different companies. We would always meet up for a stogie, had lunch by the water and then walked around smoking a stogie and solving the world's problems.

Great memories indeed. He's one of the main reasons why I continue to travel into the city often. Well him and Kuma and a few others. :D

I one time wrote a program that would change the position of random icons downward by 1 pxl at random times. By morning all his icons were laying at the bottom of his screen. It was a riot. I put this in his auto-run and it took IT a good long while to figure it out cause they were called in usually after he rebooted and everything was fine.. but around an hour later you began to notice something wasn't right.

Last year I actually set this guys whole work space up in the bathroom I even ran phone and internet in there so everything was all connected. Man did he get pissed! Heck I would have stayed in there and worked.

Nothing happened :(

Our CFO totally dropped the ball and never sent the follow up email. The guy we were trying to prank had left for the day too, so by the time he came back on Monday without any follow through the prank just completely fell flat on it's face.
