Yeah that beer took 3rd place in a local contest "Best of 2010" in Tallahassee....

I am also entering it into a contest in Miami called "The Coconut Cup" next week....

The foam on that baby, well you need a spoon to scoop it up. A nice dark beautiful foamy color. Strong flavors and a strong beer,
a heavy beer but not overwhelming.

This guy knows how to brew and I can see why it would score high on anyone's list. Not a bad after taste as I could
still taste the foam. A few of these and anyone would be in heaven.

I'm still trying to figure out the taste of it. Kind of reminded me of a guinness but not as heavy or dark like a guinness.

Heck, all I know is; it was damn good.
And I'm honored I got to try it.

I just bottled a Sweet Chocolate Stout on Monday.....So I'm keeping an eye on that, becuase I think I had a brain fart and over primed it...I may have bottle bombs, not the good kind either. For those of you that dont know, if you over prime a bottle the pressure will get to high and explode the bottle! Not cool.

So I briefed my wife this morning on what to do if I'm not home, and one explodes...she simply said....you suck :D

She is to bust out the "Church Key" and start popping tops, so they can vent, then re-cap....THat Stout was wonderful warm and uncarbed I dont wanna loose it!! :D

I got results back from the competition. I did not place but my beer was scored 37 out of possible 50 points. Buts me in the "Very Good" range....

One judge said it was too hoppy, another judge said not hoppy enough :rofl:

Sounds like your making some awesome brews down there! You going to be a the ST Tour in Tampa in a few weeks? If so, I'd love to try some of Sweet Chocolate and the Imp! We got some big beer drinkers on the E-Board. I'm sure we could find a few cigars for ya. :)
