Change a letter/Make a word

Ok folks, this is easy. I start with a 4 letter word, the next person changes 1 letter and makes it a new word not used in the last 3 posts.
For instance,
BOOK
LOOK

I have a secret word in mind. When a person hits that word they will win a few cigars!

Only persons over the age of 18 and living somewhere in the US or Canada (or APO addresses) are eligible to win, but everyone may play.
No one may go twice in a row!

OK, over time this contest, loads of fun, has migrated into something different.
The word is not secret. I reveal it and the goal is to be the one who posts it. Because we want to encourage people to "set" other up, and not avoid words close to the target word, both the person who sets it up and the poster of the target word receives points. 1/2 point. However, if the person who posts the target word posts a Nub stand with the posting of the word, they will receive a full point (any user edits on the posting of the target word will result in a max of 1/2 point).
The first person to reach 5 points wins a prize and the scores are reset.
No one is allowed to post twice in a row. All words must be legitimate words and must match the rules (change only 1 letter from the previous word)
The words MUSt be English and be present here

New point system rules:
OK guys, so you can appreciate the hard words, a small rule change in the points system.
No more extra points for posting a nub stand with the word, instead, the points you get will be 1/500th of a point for every post since the word was announced. So if there are 500 posts, it's a full point
2,500 posts is an instant win!
50 posts is 0.1 point
No one will be awarded less than 1/10 of a point.
The set-up guy gets half what the winner gets.
