Wow, what a great bomb! Nice work, Chris.

Anytime, Nick! Apparently these are hard to come by. Priced at $5-6 per stick, tasty as hell, and a #1 rating in CA? No one anticipated the demand they're seeing right now. Old Kenny only got about a dozen boxes (in various sizes) and had to wait about 4 months on backorder to get them!
Moral of the story - i picked up some extras to share with my BOTL's, and if any of you see them anywhere, give them a shot. Definitely worth it!
Also - those showed up fast! You might leave them in your humi a few days, i left the package in my office overnight once when i forgot to ship it :(

Yes they are really hard to come by. The number 1 rating in CA definitely has something to do with it.
Thanks again though. That was a great surprise!
Wednesday I will smoke it as it is suppose to rain and I will sit on my farmers porch while watching the rain!

Excellent job Chris, and congrats to Nick!! (who is a very deserving target!)
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Casa Magna after you smoke it, I still haven't tried one yet :nub:

Congrats on the score Nick, nice work Chris. I have been hearing a lot about the Casa Magna as well, and Ashley brought one up for me but alas, I never got around to trading him for it. I'll have to swing by the cigar shop to grab some. Brian, possible Herf in White Marsh this week?

Ok, so, I apologize for being so absent, as work has had me quite busy, and I was away this past weekend. I haven't checked my mail very frequently lately either, but with the high humidity here in MD, I don't think this was a problem for the sticks. First I would like to thank Chris, for your generosity. I got home, and finally decided it would be wise to check the mail since it had been about a week. The mail lady probably hates me. Anyway, I open the mailbox to see a padded envelope, and it was like Christmas morning when I saw it was addressed to me and not my roommate, especially after I saw who it was from. I opened it up and took some pics today of the prize. I received:
A Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Maduro (I've never tried this, I'm looking forward to it)
Nub Maduro (which i'm getting low on, thanks!)
Casa Magna (I've been anticipating trying one of these for a while now, thanks so much!)
I also found another package in the mail, this one addressed to me but the return address said "Koko B.Ware". I thought to myself...'What the hell?!' Upon opening, I found a stack of cigars and a letter. The letter said "Thanks again Dave for the hospitality and the awesome Nub Live after-party. Here's a little token of my appreciation. Enjoy!' Signed, Da Byrdman. Thank you so much Ashley, I really appreciate your generosity. The cigars Ashley was kind enough to gift me were:
Casa Magna (woohoo! Now I have two of them! YAHTZEE!!!)
Indian Tabac Maduro (this one has a beautiful wrapper, I can't wait to smoke it)
Bolivar Habana (I believe this might be a Cuban, Ashley can correct me if I'm wrong, and I believe it was in the top 25 cigars of the year along with the Casa Magna. I can't wait to try it...it'll have to be a special occasion)
Nub Maduro (I'm running low, thanks man!)
Nub Habano (I only have a couple left, thank you very much!)
It feels good to get cluster bombed! Thanks again Chris and Ashley, you guys are true gentlemen!

Steve, I just realized, I never did smoke the LX2, nor the Serie V Maduro with you. I guess I'll have to keep saving them until the next time we hang out.

I wish I could bomb people, funds are a little tight right now. I think I'll have to get back to it around the holidays, or more likely after the holidays...sometime in January.

X-Mas should be fun. I will have to come up with some ideas to put some extra fun into it.

By the way, for those of you who aren't familiar, Tim, aka ToolMan, put together a nice Bombing list with a few added features like a virtual humidor to keep track of your smokes (of which I really need to populate soon). If you're a frequent poster, or a seasoned Nublive vet, check out the link in his signature...or I'll just post it here (http://botn.midwestcigarclub.net) and you can register. It's a great way to bomb your fellow unsuspecting BOTN. Just thought I would refresh some people's memories and bring it to light for some newer folks.

Follow up on this: There is no registration for the site yet, but there will be. I have been working on it as much as I can. I keep wanting to get new stuff up, but I keep telling myself to get one task or another done first. LOL, good things will come with it I promise.

Penta'd? LOL, I am working on it, I got about 2 weeks left of mostly busy and bored, then the new guys take over and I can basically just sit back and wait for my plane to get here. I honestly do hope to have my site up by the time I get home.
You didn't hear this from me because I'm not one to gossip, but I should be outa here in or around, about, close to but not long after.........
Well you all know I can't tell you the actual date, but I will be at Ft. Living Room by Halloween:smiley-dance:
