I know NUb doesn't make a Maduro yet (wishful thinking?), so I was looking for some advise on some good sticks that are enjoyed by my fellow BOTL. I have only had the pleasure of enjoying the CAO Mx2 Robusto, but I absolutely loved it! So, what else out there is a favorite?

It's not always about color.

If you want to try some new cigars, expand your horizons, try the Oliva V. Primo cigar very highly rated.

I like the Mx2 a lot myself. Try the Oliva O Maduro or the Oliva G Maduro. Or if you want something with a lot of kick try a Camacho Triple Maduro WOW!

I agree, the Olivia V IMHO is one of the the best maduro out there. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

I love Camacho maduros. Smoking a Triple Maduro right now. Have about half a box of the SLR Maduros left. Any Villazon maduro is stellar smoke (especially the El Rey del Mundo Flor de Llaneza maduro). My first "regular" smoke years ago was the Hoyo de Monterrey Rothschild maduro. Another good one is the Oliva G maduro. My all time favorite is the Henry Clay Breva in the 50 count box. Then there was the extremely old box of Temple Hall Estates 500 maduro I found at Klafters. I've never had a creamier maduro in my life. I cried when I smoked the last of that box because I knew I'd never find a cigar like it again as long as I live. Alas, nothing lasts forever, but memories can be cherished and shared.

Oliva V, PAM, CAO Brazillia and VR and the Onyx Reserve are all personal favorites of mine.

I love Camacho maduros. Smoking a Triple Maduro right now.

I've smoked a handful of triple maduros and as much as they have huge flavor bodies, i feel like they were a bit unbalanced, there was just something missing. I also had the same impression on other Camachos that i had tried, to each his own but I'm just not a big Camacho person myself i guess

For a great maduro at a decent (premium) price: Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Maduro. Very toothsome. I've also had a few of the Cabaiguan maduros (Not out in regular production for about another year) that just knocked my socks off. Great stuff.

Geez, that's almost like asking "What kind of woman do you like?" Available? :)

I have had many very toothsome maddies. My most recent favorites are the Don Pepin Garcia series JJ maduro torpedos. They're medium in strength and provide a whallop of flavor. Cabaiguan makes an awesome maduro, but that's not out to the general public yet. Padron has a few that will knock your socks off...and let's not forget the Arturo Fuente 858 or Hemingway maddies. Both are fantastic and won't break the bank. For a super budget conscious purchase, I've enjoyed the Helix Super 8 maddies. Great bang for the buck there. Happy smoking.
